Superior scar care!

Siltape is used widely amongst the top plastic surgeons in the world.  It is renown for being one of the best scar care products. Use it for breast augmentation, lift, reduction, explant scars and tummy tuck or caesarean scars.  It can be used on any scar to reduce the colour and appearance.
Siltape is a silicone bandaging tape designed to gently adhere to the skin without hurting the skin, which allows inspection or repositioning of wound and dressings.

Silfix® technology ensures atraumatic removal/change for dressings which can greatly alleviate pain for a patient.

Siltape can be applied directly to the skin and tubing placed on top. Siltape can also be used for scar management.  Perfect for post surgery patients who want to minimise their scar visually.  Siltape works to soften colour and flatten the scars.

Features:
Requires no scissors. Perforated, so just tear off needed length
Atraumatic adhesion
Retains adhesion when re-adhered
Gentle with fragile skin

Use
Siltape can be used in any situation where a regular adhesive tape would be used where friable or sensitive skin is an issue.
Siltape is a perfect solution to taping down eyelids for theatre. Glue based tapes are often used, these can be painful to remove and in some cases cause tissue damage or pull out eyelashes.
Siltape is great for securing IV lines and fistula needles as it can be repositioned with no loss of adherence and with atraumatic soft silicone, no tissue damage will occur.
Small incision sites such as biopsys can be covered with the soft silicone tape with no harm to the wound or surrounding skin.
Siltape is ideal for protecting friable tissue from pressure damage or sores from tubing; this is especially useful on the face and tops of ears. Siltape can be applied directly to the skin and tubing placed on top.
